Chris Erickson is a seasoned executive with over 25 years of experience leading pharmaceutical services firms, specializing in operations, sales and marketing, customer strategy, pricing, and account management. As Chief Operating Officer at Syner-G & Sequoia, Chris is dedicated to driving operational excellence and spearheading strategic growth initiatives, all aimed at ensuring exceptional service delivery and client success.
Before joining Syner-G & Sequoia, Chris served as the Chief Commercial Officer at Cytel, where he was instrumental in the exponential growth of the company’s operations, consulting, and software divisions. His leadership was pivotal to the significant expansion of Cytel’s commercial operations, as well as the successful due diligence and integration of several acquisitions, culminating in the company’s sale to Nordic Capital and Astorg.
Chris’s career also includes more than two decades at PAREXEL, where he held a variety of leadership roles with increasing responsibility. As the Global Head of Real-World Evidence Solutions, he orchestrated a strategic transformation that resulted in double-digit revenue and margin growth. His tenure at PAREXEL saw him in key positions centered on strategic account management, global operations, and business development, where he effectively drove commercial expansion and enhanced operational efficiencies.
Chris holds a Master of Science in Agricultural and Biological Engineering from Cornell University and an MBA from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. His extensive industry knowledge and strong leadership capabilities position him as a driving force in accelerating Syner-G & Sequoia’s growth and impact within the life sciences sector.
